My Dad in the News

Yesterday an article was published about my dad in the Arizona Republic. It not the first time we have been in the news, my sister Essence Farmer, has been in the news several time for changing AZ Law. Yesterday's article entitled, "Fan turns Glendale gallery into Obama Central," was about my father's business and support of presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL). My father's enthusiastic support of Barack Obama took me by surprise because my father has always been very jaded about politics.

It's funny my father and I sometimes seem like day and night because of our backgrounds. I grew up in Glendale, AZ in the early 80's, whereas my father grew up on the Southside of Chicago in the 1940's. Notwithstanding, my dad has contributed very much to the man I am today, from my business acumen to my individuality. So check out the article!

My Father's and Sister's businesses are located in the downtown Glendale area. So, if you are looking for an Obama button and African art, or you are looking for a natural hairstylist check them out!
